It's time to play the BABY GAME!

In a few days we will be hitting our third trimester of this pregnancy! Can you believe how fast this has gone by? It really is amazing to me.

Well, as you know, James and I have set up a fun game for our friends and family to play in anticipation of our awesome baby that will be making his or her appearance sometime this June. We posted the rules on facebook, so I thought I would post some more on here in case anyone else wanted to play. Just leave a comment here and we'll keep track of the guesses for you! It's that simple!

Here is how it works:

Makes guesses about the following items:

Gender: BOY or GIRL
Baby's weight: (example 7 pounds 3 ounces)
Baby's height: (example 19 inches)
Baby's Birth Day: (example: Due date is June 24th) and Birth Time: (example: 6:30 PM)

Point system:
(You are trying to have the LEAST amount of points. Whoever makes the best guesses on these items WINS... and trust me, you WANT to win because you just MAY win a fun PRIZE)

Wrong Gender: 400 points (you basically lose... sorry. But you have a 50/50 chance at least!)
Birth weight: 5 points/ounce you are off
Birth length: 10 points/inch you are off
Baby's birth Day: 5 points/hour you are off (For example if you guessed June 24th at 5:00 PM and baby was actually born June 23rd at 4:00 PM then you would be off by 25 hours-and receive 125 points)

Again, remember to make guesses on the following:

Baby's gender
baby's weight
Baby's length
Birth date (day) and time of birth (hour)

And since people were asking concrete information, here you go:

We're full term (meaning we can go into labor and it would be considered normal) on May 31st, due June 21st according to our doctor, June 24 according to her LMP, and can't go past July 2nd before we have to get induced. So there's your time frame.

And also since people wanted to know: Jack was born 3 days after his due date, he was 8 pounds 1 ounce, 19 inches long.

SO if you haven't already done so PLAY THE GAME! It's fun for us as parents! It will be interesting to see who gets closest and who wins!
